Heather’s focused on pairing strategic partners and the best cleantech startups with the Energy Excelerator.

Based in Silicon Valley…

Heather has a diverse background in energy, startups, company development and strategy, and policy. She is Managing Partner of GreenLight Strategies, where she works closely with energy startups focusing on highly efficient electric motors, plug load efficiency at the enterprise level, and biofuels. Heather has also worked in government relations at Stanford University and Cisco; and was the Director of Appropriations, Budget, Tax, and Housing for U.S. Senator from New York Charles E. Schumer.

Her background in policy…

Stems from her degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona. Heather also has her S.O. from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

Outside of the office…

Heather enjoys spending time with her two daughters and singing karaoke.
